The West Chester Railroad is excited to run the beloved Christmas Tree Train for the 2026 holiday season! We’ve partnered with Wiggins Tree Farm in West Chester, PA, to create a festive, family friendly experience that will make your holiday season even brighter.
The train will depart from Market Street Station in West Chester promptly at 8:00 AM. Once you’re on board, enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, and fresh donuts from our snack bar while you settle in for the ride.
Upon arrival at Wiggins Tree Farm, passengers will disembark to select and cut down their very own Christmas tree. Hand saws will be provided, so you can choose the perfect tree to take home. Once you’ve found the one, it will be banded, tagged, and carefully placed on our flat car. After your tree is secured, you’ll board the train and return to West Chester, where your tree will be offloaded and ready for pick-up.

Your tree is not included in the price of your ticket. Wiggins accepts only CASH or CHECK for tree purchases. Trees price for 2026 is TBD for ticket holders.
Please note: Santa will NOT be on board this train. He is only on board our “Santa’s Express” trains. Christmas Trees are purchased separately and are priced at the discretion of Wiggins Tree Farm. West Chester Railroad will have help on hand to load trees on to your car, but it is your responsibility to make sure trees are secured for transportation.
Passengers are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure.
